Here is our BIG invite for the “End of year BIG Christmas Special”.

 

….as we do every year for our last session, we’re doing something COMPLETELY un-work related (unless you’re Dugie) and presenting Windows 7 at home after hours, now with added Windows Family Pack for Australia!

 

In short, it’s all about pushing the boundaries of Windows 7 at home with Media Center, Multitouch, Video, Photos, devices & sensors, whilst co-existing with Windows Home Server, Xbox360 and DLNA;  

 

…and maybe an informal session before the pizza, on how to make your very own Windows7 Arcade cabinet over the holidays.

 

This session is pretty much the same session that Dugie presented at Microsoft TechED Australia this year, it’s very demo heavy – but a light hearted session to wind down for the year.

BIG Hello to all

 

This month we have a very special ad-hoc unplanned session, direct from the product team in Redmond.

David Lemphers, Senior Program Manager for the Windows Azure is going to be  is in town, and has made time in his schedule especially for the  usergroup community in Brisbane. 

Dugie caught up with Dave a few weeks ago over in Seattle, and had some amazing chats about what the team did with their "datacenter in a container" for the PDC Launch -- amazing stuff.

Anyway if you're interested, BIG will be teaming up with the rest of the Brisbane Usergroups for this session:

 There is no cost to attend,

    Venue:     Microsoft Level 9, 1 Eagle Street, Waterfront Place

    Time:         12:00 noon.
